Technology

The classic Western Blot technique is obsolete, the lack of reproducibility and the many steps of the method have led companies to imagine an automation of the technique. 

The Simple Western technology from ProteinSimple reinvents the Western Blot!

From sample loading to the quantification, everything is automated and takes only 3 hours. The principle of the method is based on capillary electrophoresis with separation according to molecular weight followed by UV immobilization of the proteins in the capillary. The revelation is then carried out either by chemiluminescence or by fluorescence (NIR/IR) depending on the run options.

This method allows to use only 3µl of sample, is 2 times more reproducible and saves your time.

Applications

With this technology, several interesting solutions:

- 3 separation matrices: 2-40 kDa, 12-230 kDa and 66-440kDa

- Different detection modules in the same capillary (HRP, NIR, IR)

-  Replex

- Protein Normalization (Fluo or HRP)
